Our Director Oliver C has an extensive background from the UK military followed by a career within the Close Protection industry working in Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Nigeria and many other high threat countries.
While starting with a remote medical course in South Africa (Cape Town) he followed a passion to complete a UK paramedic programme and has been working worldwide since utilising skills learning and passing this on to students via medical, first aid and HEAT training.
FIRST AID TRAINING
Take a look at our in-depth First Aid training courses with added realism covering everything from First Aid At Work, Forestry First Aid and Paediatric First Aid.
We can run all of these courses at our Bristol venue or in your own workplace. They can be adapted for your needs with additional content or material if needed. They can be spread over days or weeks and run side by side with any events which we can arrange also.
All our courses are taught by current Military medics, IHCD Ambulance Technicians or paramedics who have extensive experience in the subjects. We believe practical experience and exposure add significant value to each training course.

OPERATIONS
Our operational wing is increasing and we are enabling our students to gain real first hand experience with our own staff members to mentor them. We offer a agency style staffing system where the students can gain hours while being paid (some unpaid). We are always looking for new members of staff, we encourage ex forces to apply also.

Oliver served close to 12 years within the 1st Battalion the Parachute regiment then followed a career in close protection and security advisory roles in austere and high threat environments. Using our foundation training in South Africa with Ronin SA. During this process also became a paramedic registered in the UK while setting up Oscar Charlie,
Rich King
Associate
Paramedic advisor, remote medic for TV & Film & Educator
Ronin SA graduate Rich originates from South Africa and qualified as a paramedic many years ago. As an avid surfer he loves travelling working in austere environments worldwide, hotter the better. He works as a remote medic for TV & Film.
Rob Smith
Associate
Remote paramedic, offshore medic, austere & educator.
Rob Smith served within the royal army medical corps in the British Army and following went to university to pursue a career as a paramedic, he found himself working in the Middle East for over 3 years and becoming an educator. He came back to the Uk and now works in oil and gas, wind farms worldwide as a medical professional.
James Tavener
Associate paramedic advisor, SAR medic, practitioner & Educator. MD Crux medical training.
With a decade of frontline paramedic experience in a busy city, James Tavener is a seasoned instructor and mentor. His 10 years of expertise in prehospital care courses, coupled with a background as a senior training manager, ensures strategic and practical insights. An active member of local search and rescue and cliff rescue teams, James brings a commitment to effective emergency response in challenging environments.

MEDICAL TRAINING
We have the experience and qualifications to be able to offer the full spectrum of pre-hospital care courses. This includes the FREC3, FREC4, FREC5, offshore medic course and various other bolt-on elements such as woodland first aid.
All of these courses are hosted in our dedicated training centre located in Bristol, or alternatively, we can cater for groups at a location to suit your needs. If you have a workplace of personnel you wish to get trained - we can come to you!
ABOUT US
Oscar Charlie Bespoke training and operations pans across all sectors including primary healthcare with immediate first aid training to responder levels. We run training across the aerospace, defence and space sectors with courses such as CONDO, Hostile and high threat environment training with realistic scenarios to front of course emergency first aid courses for large corporations and institutions across London and the UK.
We have an operational element that can deploy often at short notice a security advisor who is also a HCPC paramedic to ensure your complete safety while operating in austere environments. We offer bespoke and discreet services where necessary across all regions including training and operations all to tailor the necessary requirements.
