About the event

The QA Level 5 Diploma in First Response Emergency and Urgent Care (RQF) has been specifically designed for those looking to further develop their career within the Prehospital care sector.

Fulfilling the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at descriptor level F, this fantastic qualification provides Learners with the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to be able to assess and manage a range of Prehospital care situations, such as acute conditions, life-threatening infections, end of life care, childbirth and more.

What’s more, this regulated and nationally recognised qualification forms part of a progressive suite of Prehospital care qualifications that lead to the QA Level 6 Diploma in Paramedic Practice (RQF).

Dates: March 20th to 24th 2023, April 24th to 28th 2023, May 22nd to 31st 2023. Cost £2695 total.

The FREC 5 course is over 3.5 weeks over 3 months (Around 1 week per month) to allow for resits, study sessions, evening sessions, discussions and advice. 

On the FREC 5 there are 4 module exams, 1 for each element of the course, it is recommended the student studys how to format essays, referencing accurately using the harvard referencing models, laying out essay question and able to research in their own time. The course will be delivered but it would benefit the learner to be able to do a substanstive amount of independant learning. 

On succesful completion of the classroom based learning and assessments you will be then able to start your placements at our approved locations which are listed below. You will require a CERAD qualification to be able to conduct your front line hours which make up 375 of the 750 hours in total required.
